Copper
is a metal used by primitive human
beings that goes back down to about 6000 years ago.
Different tools, pots and ornamentals were made out of this
Red Gold. Today's progress in technology and culture is due
to copper, since a lot of great inventions which make the
life easier and more pleasant are based upon this metal and
its alloys. Beautifully engraved handy crafts, telecommunications
and electrical computing systems are
typical examples.
In
1984, on an area of about 100 hectare,
located in 21 Km of south eastern of Kerman-Iran, Shahid
Bahonar Copper Industries was founded and in 22nd of Bahman
(11th of February) 1989 its first factory was inaugurated.
Currently this company, containing three factories of
foundry Shop, Extrusion shop and Rolling Shop, produces the
most various semi finished products of copper and copper
alloys in Middle East.
The
products of this company which are generally categorized to
any kind of sections of Brass and Leaded Brass alloys,
different sort of tubes of Copper and Copper Nickel and
Brass, and almost any size of Copper and Copper Tin strip
and sheets, are used in a vast extend of industries such as:
